As the day comes to an end,

i bid my carefree years goodbye..

though it flew right past in a flash,

i must say i really had fun while it last..

As the day comes to an end,

a whole new chapter of life will begin..

Greeted with new responsibilities and duties,

i just hope that i will be able to fufill them all..

As the day comes to an end,

regrets submerged from the depths of my heart..

thinking about how i could have better spend my time,

i yearned for time to stop and rewind...

i turned my back to the past,

and took my first step towards the future..
